Hello! Welcome to Leah's Tangled Treasures! My name is Leah, and I am 15 years old. I was born with a rare condition called Osteogenesis Imperfecta. It is a collagen disorder that mainly effects the strength of my bones. I can't walk so I get around in my purple power wheelchair.
I learned the basics of crochet at my homeschool co-op in 2020. (Thanks Mrs. Karen.) When covid hit, I transitioned to YouTube, teaching myself. The rest is history; Leah's Tangled Treasures was born that fall. I sold everything from earrings to stuffed animals at my co-op's small business sale, followed by other markets over the summer. I have now transitioned specifically to animal loveys and other cute baby items, but I am happy to do special orders if you have any requests.
